Salesperson Course II is designed to provide a more in-depth and practical approach to working in the real estate profession and helps to prepare students to work in the field. The course covers the following topics required by the Wyoming Real Estate Commission:

• Environmental issues
• State and federal laws dealing with real property interests.
• Roles and responsibilities of the real estate licensee
• Relationships between brokers and the public
• Brokerage relationships: working with buyers, working with sellers, intermediary brokerage, and “in house” real estate transactions.

• Title insurance
• Office administration
• Closing the transaction
Upon completion of this course, students will be able to identify real estate terminology and to recognize Wyoming’s real estate laws and principles. This course will also assist students in preparing for their real estate licensing exam.
40-hour Wyoming Salesperson Course I
7-hour Wyoming Law - Salesperson Course
To be effective and remain in business, students must understand and follow Wyoming real estate licensing laws. The course covers the topics required by the Wyoming Real Estate Commission for the 7-hour law portion of the Salesperson 1 course. Students will begin the course by learning about the Wyoming Real Estate Licensing Agency and its power to investigate licensee activity and to sanction and discipline licensees. The types of licensees and the requirements to obtain and renew them are described. An overview of the activities of licensees is provided including advertising, disclosures, conflict of interest, and E&O insurance. Wyoming laws regarding landlord/tenant relationships, CICs, condominiums, the statute of frauds, and foreclosure and auctions are discussed.
Upon completion of this course, students will be able to identify real estate terminology and to recognize Wyoming’s real estate laws and principles. This course will also assist students in preparing for their real estate licensing exam.
