With the beginning of the new year, we are planning our marketing strategies to increase our visibility and promote an upbeat atmosphere to the buying and selling of homes. As long as you are in a doom and gloom mode, the public will catch that attitude and will hold back on what they really want to do and that is buy or sell a home. If you put forth an attitude of excitement and optimism, then your clients will catch those feelings and jump on the real estate bandwagon with you.
You are the master of your destiny and can influence how other people will react just by your demeanor and actions. Let’s show the public that we are back in the game and ready to make 2009 a stellar year.

I see 2009 as a turn around point for all.
Let me start with, I am just getting started on getting my Real Estate sales license and can not wait to finish the course. I have also seen the crash of the 1990′s and that is when I started my own business in 1994. 15 years later I am still in business and doing well (even though it does not have to do with real estate) – just trying to let people know that it is not all that is done in the world. I have seen the results of the past year and have read all the stories about business closures, credit freezing up and foreclosures, etc.( not trying to be a downer, but reality) and hope we have learned a lesson from it.
I see 2009 as a turn around point for all, especially in the real estate market. Although home prices have dropped very dramatically, these prices are a correction from where they should be at currently. The prices went up too fast and the market could not correct, although foreclosures could have been avoided by many, some of the purchasers should not have signed on the bottom line.
I have a few friends that have purchased new homes in the past year and know that there is still money to lend, just need a stellar credit to get a loan. I am thinking very positive about the new year and can not wait to get started in this great industry. So look up and keep a positive attitude and we all will do fine.
