I am a licensed Principal Broker in Oregon and looking to obtain my Washington lic. Are there hours required to take the state test or do I just take the exam? Just looking for what steps to take.

Asked by: Sondra
We have heard from other students that there may be a particular course that you need to take, which, unfortunately we do not offer. However, we recommend confirming directly with the WA Department of Licensing at (360) 664.6488 or (360) 664.6500 or their website http://www.dol.wa.gov/

I am a bit confused. I can not acquire a real estate sales license without 3 years of full-time experience as a salesperson in Washington? How does one become a sales person? I am moving there in December and want to acquire a license as soon as possible.

Asked by: NicoleC
You can get a Washington Broker license without any real estate experience. If you want to get licensed as a Managing Broker, you need years 3 of experience.
