Ok, I was licensed in CA. I study by myself, just ordered all the books and the first two exams were online. Here do we have to be in a course like in class with others or can we study by ourselves?
Most states do not recognize out of country licenses - out of state maybe, but not outside the U.S. However, you can always confirm directly with the NY Real Estate Commission at (518) 474-4429. There are four steps you need to complete before you are certified to work. 1) complete the 75-hour prelicense course 2) pass the state licensing exam 3) apply for your license with the NY Board of Real Estate 4) find a licensed broker to sponsor you and hold your license.
