How long do I have to take the course?

You have 6 months to complete your course. However, if you need to go beyond the original 6 months, included in the price of the course, GA has three extension options that we state in your course.

How long does it generally take to complete the course?

The course is written to take 75 hours to complete. Your schedule will determine how many weeks you take to complete those hours. If you can give 8 hours a day to the course, you can finish in as little as 10 days. If you can give one hour per day, you can finish in 2.5 months. We provide you six months access to the course, so you should have plenty of time regardless of your schedule.

can i get my broker license and still sell real estate in ga with a real estate co or do i need to be agent first

Your question is a little unclear. You must have a license to practice any form of real estate. If you are asking if you can be a broker but still work under another broker at a real estate company, the answer is yes. With a broker license you could also start your own real estate company. Once the course is completed and I'm ready to take the exam, would there be assistance to help me find out how to schedule the exam?

Your course final exam is online, but it must be taken in front of a disinterested person (proctor) to make sure all testing protocols are followed. We have partnered with an online proctoring service so the COVID-19 closures shouldn’t affect your ability to take the exam. You can either use our online proctoring partner PSI https://candidate.psiexams.com/ or find anyone who meets the proctoring criteria.

Two questions: where is proctored final exam taken for Atlanta based students?  What textbook do you use for the 75 hour license test?

You aren’t limited to a set list of proctors. You can either use our online proctoring partner or find anyone who meets the proctoring criteria. The criteria is explained in detail in the course. Your course will contain all the information you need without a separate textbook. We do have some portions of Mettling and Cusic’s Principles of Real Estate Practice textbook embedded in your course.
