Mississippi Real Estate Appraiser License Requirements Get Your Mississippi Appriaser License The Mississippi Appraisal Board has established the minimum educational requirements for an appraisal license. In lieu of the required degree, 21 Semester credit hours in the following subject matter courses: English Composition; Economics (Micro or Macro); Finance; Algebra, Geometry, or higher mathematics; Statistics; Computer Science; Business or Real Estate Law Exam: Required Certified General Appraiser Education: 300 hours of appraisal education, including the 15-hour USPAP completed within 60 months of application Experience: 3,000 hours of acceptable appraisal experience gained over a minimum of 30 months College-level requirements: Bachelor Degree of higher.
