You go online and learn the
sections at your own pace, whenever it's convenient for you. You must go
through all the screens in each section to complete the course. At the end of
each section you will be required to take and pass an exam before being allowed
to go on to the next section of the course. But don't worry. The system is
almost foolproof. And if you should score less than the required score, we'll
give you another test, and the tools you need to pass.
Illinois Proctor Policy
The State of Illinois requires that each of the five course finals be
Proctored.
In order to successfully complete the prelicense course, students must take and
score a minimum of 75% on a proctored final examination administered in an
educational facility by an approved instructor or by a qualified person who is
not in the real estate business. Complete information on finding a proctor is
included in your course materials. We must verify each proctor that is reported.
If you do not have a proctor when you test, you will have to take the test
again with a proctor present. Generally, public libraries do not charge to
proctor exams, while most universities, colleges and learning centers will
charge anywhere from $5 - $100. You are responsible for any proctoring fees
associated with having your final exam proctored.
